Online the first Italian trailer and poster of Hocus Pocus 2, a comedy film directed by Anne Fletcher on a screenplay by Jen D'Angelo.
Hocus Pocus 2 is the sequel to Hocus Pocus (1993), Kenny Ortega's cult film about the three Sanderson sisters, the wicked witches Winifred, Mary, and Sarah (played by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, respectively) of 1700s Salem who, accidentally re-enacted, cast a spell on the town to regain their youth but will have to contend with three young boys and a talking cat.
The release date of Hocus Pocus 2 has been set for September 30, 2022 on Disney+.
Alongside the aforementioned actresses from the first chapter, in Hocus Pocus 2 there is also Doug Jones (The Faun's Labyrinth, The Shape of Water), the latter again as Billy Butcherson.
Completing the cast are Tony Hale, Hannah Waddingham, Sam Richardson, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Whitney Peak (The Terrifying Adventures of Sabrina), Juju Brener, Taylor Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.
Plot of Hocus Pocus 2: It has been 29 years since someone lit the Candle of the Black Flame and resurrected the sisters on Halloween night 1693. Now it's up to three high school girls to stop the vengeful hags from wreaking new havoc in Salem before dawn on All Hallow's Eve.
