La fase di filming di Hocus Pocus 2 è ufficialmente giunta al termine qualche giorno fa e, per l’occasione, l’attore Doug Jones ha pubblicato un selfie che lo ritrae nei panni di Billy Butcherson, personaggio presente anche nel film originale del 1993.
Diretto da Anne Fletcher su una sceneggiatura a firma di Jen D’Angelo, Hocus Pocus 2 è infatti il sequel di Hocus Pocus (1993), the cult fantasy comedy genre film about the three Sanderson sisters, the wicked witches Winifred, Mary, and Sarah, played by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker, respectively.
La data di uscita su Disney+ è prevista per Halloween 2022.
Accanto alle attrici originali e a Doug Jones (Il labirinto del fauno, La forma dell’acqua), nel sequel ci sono anche Tony Hale, Hannah Waddingham, Sam Richardson, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo,Whitney Peak (Le terrificanti avventure di Sabrina), Froy Gutierrez, Juju Brener, Taylor Henderson e Nina Kitchen.
Directed in 1993 by Kenny Ortega for Walt Disney Pictures, Hocus Pocus stars Winifred, Sarah and Mary Sanderson, three witches from 1700s Salem who are accidentally re-enacted. The three hags will cast a spell on the town to regain their youth but must contend with three young boys and a talking cat.
