A24 has released the official trailer for High Life (Germania, Francia, UK - 2018), un film di genere fantascienza con richiami drammatici e horror. Diretto da Claire Denis, High Life is played by Robert Pattinson (saga Twilight) who in 2019 we will also see alongside Willem Dafoe in The Lighthouse, the new witchcraft film directed by Robert Eggers (The VVitch).
In High Life Robert Pattinson is Monte, a human guinea pig participating in a science experiment.
Plot: A group of prisoners are forced to participate in a special and dangerous mission in space: to beget and raise a child aboard a spacecraft. In case of a successful outcome for them, they are scheduled for release, but the authorities are not really willing to keep their word.
La situazione però precipita quando Monte, una delle cavie umane, scopre che l'equipaggio (composto dai detenuti e da una dottoressa), è improvvisamente scomparso.
In the cast of High Life there are also Juliette Binoche (Ghost in the Shell), Mia Goth (The Cure from Wellness, Suspiria 2018), André Benjamin, Lars Eidinger, Jessie Roberts, Ewan Mitchell and Agata Buzek.
The screenplay was written by Claire Denis together with Jean-Pol Fargeau and Geoff Cox.
