Teaser poster for Hidden Devil, the Spanish fantasy-horror short film that is supposed to mix the clichés of the genre we hold dear with the mythological figures of fantasy cinema. Hidden Devil Is produced by Cafetico Films S.L.
Directing the film is Fran Mateu, who has behind him the award-winning Historia Muerta (Dead Story), a short film in the gothic horror genre presented in more than 130 festivals worldwide and marking his directorial debut in 2011.
Javier Botet (REC, Mama, Witching & Bitching), Javier Bódalo (The Devil's Backbone, Ghost Promotion), and Pepe Mediavilla (Spanish voice actor who voiced Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings and also Morgan Freeman) are the first names announced from the cast. The rest of the team has not yet been announced.
The plot of this second project by Fran Mateu has not yet been disclosed, however, filming of the movie will begin next year. Meanwhile, a crowdfunding campaign will start after the summer.
