bloodmania1Bloodmania is the title of the new horror anthology conceived by the very great Herschell Gordon Lewis (born 1926), a very important name in the world of genre cinema. The filmography of this U.S. director (also a screenwriter, actor and producer), has its roots as far back as the early 1960s (a period when the splatter genre was born thanks to him), continuing with a conspicuous dose of titles until 1972.
Gordon Lewis then returned to film with Blood Feast 2: All U Can Eat and The Uh-oh Show, from 2002 and 2009, respectively.

His works have never lacked massive doses of gore, splatter but also a lot of brutality and sadism.
It is enough to mention his famous Blood Feast of 1963 that gave birth to a new kind of horror cinema. Therefore, those who love the cinema of this extraordinary director who dared (2000 Maniacs, Color Me Blood Red, A Taste of Blood, The Gore-Gore Girls, Blood Feast 2...) will eagerly await Bloodmania.

The father of splatter's new project consists of four episodes. Herschell Gordon Lewis wrote the script for one segment while he will direct two episodes.
Bloodmania will be a concentrate of the director's style, so healthy and spectacular splatter is to be expected that will intoxicate the eyes and souls of fans of the horror genre.
