With Netflix comes online the teaser trailer of Hermana Muerte, the prequel to Veronica, Spanish horror film directed by Paco Plaza (The Full Moon Murders, REC) in 2018.
The story in this new chapter sheds light on Sister Death, a character played by Consuelo Trujillo in Veronica.

The direction of Hermana Muerte was assigned to Paco Plaza while the screenplay is by Jorge Guerricaechevarria.
The cast instead includes Aria Bedmar, Almudena Amor and Maru Valdivielso.

Plot of Hermana Muerte: In postwar Spain, Narcisa (Bedmar), a novice with supernatural powers, arrives at an old convent used as a girls' school to become a teacher. As the days go by, strange events and increasingly disturbing situations will begin to haunt her, leading her to unravel the horrible secrets about the convent.

In Veronica (2018) instead a teenage girl (Sandra Escacena) is possessed by an evil supernatural force. The film is inspired by the true events of the 1991 Vallecas case in which Estefanía Gutiérrez Lázaro died mysteriously after using a ouija board.
