British actor Hugh Grant (Honeymoon, Dungeons & Dragons: honor of thieves) will star in Heretic, a project written and directed by the authors of A Quiet Place - A Quiet Place (2018) for A24.
Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the screenwriters of A Quiet Place and The Boogeyman, will handle the script and direct the project while Hugh Grant is reportedly finalizing negotiations with the production and then signing the contract.
The official plot of Heretic has not yet been unveiled, however, according to reports from Deadline, at the center of the story will be two women of faith involved in a ruthless game in the home of an untrustworthy man.
