M2 Pictures has released the first three featurettes of Hellboy, l'atteso reboot che arriverà nelle sale italiane l'11 aprile in anteprima mondiale. Diretto da Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent – Discesa nelle tenebre), Hellboy is the new film adaptation of the comic books created by Mike Mignola.
Presentato come un'avventura estremamente dark, il film è il reboot della serie già portata sul grande schermo da Guillermo del Toro con Hellboy (2004) e Hellboy: The Golden Army (2008).
The film stars David Harbour, star of the acclaimed Netflix series Stranger Things. In queste featurette l'attore rivela alcuni retroscena dell’attesissimo film, dalla preparazione al personaggio di Hellboy fino alle scene più difficili durante la lavorazione.
Plot: Demonic superhero Hellboy (David Harbour), a detective with the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD), is on a mission in London to confront the ancient spirit of an evil creature who has returned to Earth from the dead. Here the legendary demon will discover his origins and must confront Nimue, the Blood Queen, an ancient witch thirsting for revenge against humanity. To avoid the end of the world, Hellboy will have to defeat Nimue and also other supernatural creatures that threaten to destroy Earth.
