M2 Pictures has released the red band trailer and official Italian posters of Hellboy, a reboot of the series already brought to the big screen with Hellboy (2004) e Hellboy: The Golden Army (2008), entrambi diretti da Guillermo del Toro. Questo nuovo adattamento cinematografico dei fumetti creati da Mike Mignola è diretto da Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, The Descent - Discesa nelle tenebre) ed esordirà nelle sale italiane l’11 aprile in anteprima mondiale.
David Harbour plays cinema's most famous demonic hero who returns to the big screen in a new guise. The semi-demon will have to protect the Earth from supernatural creatures that threaten it, such as the Blood Queen (Milla Jovovich).
Plot: Legendary demonic superhero Hellboy, a detective with the BPRD (Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense), is called to England to battle three raging giants. There he will discover his origins and must deal with Nimue, the Blood Queen, an ancient witch resurrected from the past and who is thirsting for revenge against humanity. Hellboy will have to try to stop her by any means in an epic confrontation to avert the end of the world.
In the cast of Hellboy, oltre a David Harbour (Stranger Things) e a Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil - saga), ci sono anche Ian McShane (Death Race), Kristina Klebe (Halloween - The Beginning), Sasha Lane, Daniel Dae Kim (Il nascondiglio del diavolo - The cave), Penelope Mitchell (The Fear of Darkness), Thomas Haden Church (Killer Joe), Ashley Edner, Douglas Tait ed Alistair Petrie (Rush).
