Five character posters of Hellboy, the long-awaited reboot that will hit Italian theaters on April 11 in its world premiere. The film is directed by Neil Marshall, the director of the horror Dog Soldiers and The Descent - Descent into Darkness. Presented as an extremely dark adventure, Hellboy is the new film adaptation of the comic books created by Mike Mignola.
Hellboy is played by David Harbour, star of the acclaimed Netflix series Stranger Things. Also in the cast are Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil - saga), Douglas Tait, Ian McShane (Death Race), Kristina Klebe (Halloween - The Beginning), Daniel Dae Kim (The Devil's Hideout - The Hollow), Brian Gleeson (Mother!), Penelope Mitchell (The Fear of Darkness),Thomas Haden Church (Killer Joe), Sasha Lane, Ashley Edner, Alistair Petrie (Rush) and Sophie Okonedo.
Plot: The demonic superhero is on a mission in London to confront the ancient spirit of an evil creature who has returned to Earth from the dead. This is Nimue (Milla Jovovich), the Blood Queen, an ancient witch thirsting for revenge against humanity. Here the legendary semi-demon will discover his origins and, to avoid the end of the world, he will have to defeat Nimue and also other supernatural creatures that threaten to destroy the Earth.
