In questi giorni è stato diffuso il teaser poster dell'horror Happy Death Day 2U, the sequel to Best wishes for your death (2017). Christopher Landon (director of the first installment) and actors Jessica Rothe and Israel Broussard have been confirmed for the sequel, which will arrive in U.S. theaters on Feb. 14, 2019.
We remember you that Best wishes for your death grossed nearly $125 million worldwide and was released in Italian theaters last November. The protagonist of the first chapter is Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe), a student stuck in a terrifying time loop. The girl constantly relives the day of her murder and, in reenacting the most terrifying and painful moments of her death, tries to discover the identity of the person who took her life.
In the cast of Happy Death Day 2U si sono aggiunti Suraj Sharma e Sarah Yarkin mentre sono attualmente sconosciuti i dettagli della trama. Intanto l'attrice Jessica Rothe ha anticipato che la storia di Happy Death Day 2U will tie in with that of the first chapter.
