Ahead of Halloween, for the month of October Midnight Factory is offering the horror film Halloween Night (aka The Houses October Built). Winner at the Sitges Festival in the "Midnight X-treme" category, Halloween Night is inspired by the phenomenon of haunted houses and, more specifically, Halloween horror attractions.
The film will be available from October 27 in DVD and Blu-ray formats in a limited edition with booklet.
Halloween Night (USA - 2014) is directed by Bobby Roe for a script is by Zack Andrews while the producers of "Paranormal Activity" and "Insidious" are involved in the crew.
The Houses October Built is also the title of the documentary genre film about horror attractions made by Roe in 2011.
Plot of Halloween Night: Five friends are on a trip to document America's scariest Halloween attractions. Seeking thrills, the group is determined to experience a terrifying and unforgettable witch's night to the fullest, so they decide to visit even the lesser-known "Houses of Terror." Their search, however, will lead them to confront disturbing and very dangerous events.
