Universal Pictures has just released the Italian trailer for Halloween (USA - 2018), the slasher-horror directed by David Gordon Green, who co-wrote the screenplay with Danny McBride. The film is a reboot of the cult horror Halloween - The Night of the Witches directed by John Carpenter in 1978 and will debut in Italian theaters on October 25, 2018.
In the cast of Halloween we find: Nick Castle, Andi Matichak, Judy Greer, Virginia Gardner, Will Patton, Miles Robbins (My Friend Dahmer), Dylan Arnold, Rob Niter, Drew Scheid (Stranger Things), James Jude Courtney, Rhian Rees, and Jamie Lee Curtis. The latter will again play Laurie Straude.
John Carpenter himself appears in the film as creative consultant, executive producer and author of the soundtrack.
Plot: Forty years after the killing spree of Michael Myers (Nick Castle), the killer becomes the subject of a crime documentary. When the film crew visits him in prison, the serial killer escapes, retrieves his mask and begins to hunt down Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). Convinced in his return, the woman has always tried to protect her daughter and granddaughter from the psychopath and is ready to confront him.
