Talking to Entertainment Weekly during the promotion of You Should Have Left, producer Jason Blum revealed that it will not be long before the first trailer for the Halloween Kills: "We are trying to get the trailer and the film out by the end of the year. That is our hope, our dream, our plan. We will see".
Halloween Kills is the new chapter in the trilogy started by David Gordon Green with Halloween (2018) and will conclude with Halloween Ends (2021). Barring unforeseen events, the film is expected to arrive in U.S. theaters on October 16, 2020.
Halloween Kills Is played by Jamie Lee Curtis. The actress is Laurie Strode, a character tormented by Michael Myers in both the famous saga that began with Halloween - The Night of the Witches in 1978, than forty years later in David Gordon Green's trilogy. In the cast of Halloween Kills, in addition to Jamie Lee Curtis, there is again Nick Castle ("Halloween" - 1978 and "Halloween" - 2018) as Michael Myers.
In Halloween Kills, the two actors are joined by Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Kyle Richards, Robert Longstreet, Jibrail Nantambu, Nancy Stephens, Anthony Michael Hall, and Charles Cyphers (the latter three were part of the cast of Halloween - Night of the Witches - 1978).
The screenplay is by David Gordon Green in collaboration with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
