Blumhouse has released the teaser trailer for Halloween Kills, the new chapter in the trilogy started by David Gordon Green with Halloween (2018) and will conclude with Halloween Ends (2021).
The screenplay is by the director himself in collaboration with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
The U.S. release date for the film has been set for October 15, 2021, distributed by Universal Pictures.
In Halloween Kills, Jamie Lee Curtis is Laurie Strode, a character tormented by Michael Myers in both the famous saga that began with Halloween - The Night of the Witches (1978), than forty years later in David Gordon Green's trilogy. In the cast of Halloween Kills there is again Nick Castle ("Halloween" - 1978 and "Halloween" - 2018) as Michael Myers.
The two iconic actors are joined by Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Kyle Richards, Robert Longstreet, Jibrail Nantambu, Nancy Stephens, Anthony Michael Hall, and Charles Cyphers. The latter three are part of the cast of Halloween - The Night of the Witches 1978.

The plot details of Halloween Kills have not yet been made public, so we report the plot of the first chapter, Halloween (2018): Four decades after Michael Myers' killing spree, the heinous masked serial killer becomes the subject of a crime documentary. When the film crew visits him in prison, the killer escapes and begins hunting Laurie Strode. Convinced all along in his return, the woman is ready to confront him.
