Empire ha diffuso, online, una immagine ufficiale di Halloween Kills, the new chapter in the trilogy started by David Gordon Green with Halloween (2018) and will conclude with Halloween Ends (2022). The screenplay is by the director himself in collaboration with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.

In the new film, Jamie Lee Curtis is Laurie Strode, a character tormented by Michael Myers in both the famous saga that began with Halloween - The Night of the Witches (1978), che quarant’anni dopo, nella trilogia di David Gordon Green. Al suo fianco, nei panni di Michael Myers, c’è nuovamente Nick Castle (“Halloween” – 1978 e “Halloween” – 2018).
Completano il cast Andi Matichak, Judy Greer, James Jude Courtney, Anthony Michael Hall, Robert Longstreet, Jibrail Nantambu e i veterani Nancy Stephens, Kyle Richards e Charles Cyphers, qui nei loro ruoli originali (Halloween – La notte delle streghe del 1978).
Halloween Kills ha ottenuto il Rating R a causa delle “forti e sanguinose scene di violenza presenti in tutto il film, immagini cupe, linguaggio scurrile e uso di droghe”. Il film quindi sarà vietato ai minori di 17 anni non accompagnati.
