Halloween Kills is the second installment in the trilogy started in 2018 by David Gordon Green with Halloween (2018) and will arrive in Italian theaters on October 21, 2021.
Written and directed by David Gordon Green, the film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, a character tormented by Michael Myers in both the famous saga that began with Halloween - The Night of the Witches (1978), which forty years later, in this trilogy.
By his side is again Nick Castle ("Halloween" - 1978 and "Halloween" - 2018) as the immortal villain.
Plot: Michael Myers manages to free himself from Laurie Strode's trap after she is rushed to the hospital. The psychopath resumes his ritual bloodbath and Laurie prepares to defend herself against him again but this time she will incite all of Haddonfield to rebel against the unstoppable monster.
The Strode women will join a group of other survivors of Myers' first rampage. Together they will decide to take matters into their own hands by forming a vigilante mob whose goal will be to hunt him down and eliminate him once and for all.
In addition to the two aforementioned actors, the cast of Halloween Kills there are also Andi Matichak, Judy Greer, James Jude Courtney, Anthony Michael Hall, Robert Longstreet, Jibrail Nantambu, Stephanie McIntyre, Dylan Arnold, Omar J. Dorsey, Kadrolsha Ona Carole, Ron Blake. They were joined by veterans Nancy Stephens, Kyle Richards, Charles Cyphers, here in their original roles they had in John Carpenter's 1978 cult film.
The screenplay for this new chapter is by the director himself along with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
Producing the film are Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block while John Carpenter, Danny McBride and David Gordon Green are the executive producers along with Jamie Lee Curtis, Jeanette Volturno and Couper Samuelson.
