Luca Canale Brucculeri, the director of Onirica (2019), returns to direct a new horror film titled H010N.
Produced by Molteni Media Productions in collaboration with Winter Workshop, Nova RolFilm and
May Film, H010N is an action horror film that delves into the human soul and is based on the themes contained in the philosophical essay "Janus: A Summing Up" (1978) by Hungarian writer and philosopher Arthur Koestler.
Filming of the film will start in a few weeks in Turin, Italy, and the entire film will be shot in theaters in
pose. The release is scheduled for later this year.
H010N is written by Luca Canale Brucculeri himself while the cast includes Alessia Spanu, Paolo Mazzini, Eugenio Gradabosco and Riccardo Fiorio.
The Italian horror site Horror Italy 24 instead appears in the project as a media partner.
About the film, director Luca Canale Brucculeri said, "It is the movie I always wanted to see as a kid as a big fan of VHS films, monsters, Japanese anime and heroes who transform. It's something completely different from what I've done so far, it's my version of that horror and dark tinged world, my most personal film that I've been working on for more than a year and a half!
I thought it was unfeasible until I met Maurizio Corigliano and Sergio Luca
Loreni thanks to Paolo Mazzini. Now, with the help of producer Graziano Molteni, it is becoming
reality".
Producer Graziano Molteni then added: "I grew up watching cartoons such as Goldrake, Gundam, Tekkaman, Kyashan, Polimar, Mazinger Z... and as a child I spent my afternoons drawing comics and creating stories... I saw Luca's work, which I liked immediately. I knew Paolo Mazzini and the legendary bad boys of Inverno, Sergio Luca Loreni and Maurizio Corigliano, with whom we made our previous film., The Sentinel and I then saw Alessia Spanu, so I must say that when they proposed this project, I certainly couldn't say no!"
