In occasione dell'anniversario della morte di H. R. Giger avvenuta il 22 maggio 2014, il "The Hollywood Theater" a Dormont, nell'area metropolitana di Pittsburgh, celebra il noto artista svizzero con un poster contest e con la proiezione di tre film nei giorni che vanno dal 5 all'11 giugno 2015. On June 5, 2015, there will be the premiere of Dark Star: H. R. Giger's World (Svizzera - 2014), un film documentario scritto e diretto da Belinda Sallin. A seguire i fanta-horror Alien (1979) e Aliens (1986). Indeed, we recall that H. R. Giger made, in collaboration with Carlo Rambaldi, the xenomorph in Ridley Scott's film.
Per promuovere il programma, l'Hollywood Theatre sta cercando illustratori, designer e artisti.
Requirements:
- Creare un'opera originale che rappresenti i tre film.
- Il poster deve includere i titoli dei tre film, il nome "The Hollywood Theater", le date 5/11-2015 e l'indirizzo web www.thehollywooddormont.org
