The featurette with Italian subtitles of Gretel and Hansel (Canada, USA - 2020), the new horror retelling of the classic German fairy tale "Hansel and Gretel" by the Brothers Grimm.
Produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger, Gretel and Hansel is directed by Oz Perkins (February: The Innocence of Evil) and will arrive in Italian theaters on August 19, 2020.
Plot: In search of food and a job, 16-year-old Gretel (Sophia Lillis) reaches the woods with her eight-year-old brother Hansel (Sammy Leakey). Along the way, the two will meet a very kind hunter (Charles Babalola) and then find comfort at the cozy home of an elderly woman (Alice Krige) who is apparently very loving toward them and is happy to help them.
The cast includes Sophia Lillis (IT, IT: Chapter Two), Sammy Leakey, Jessica De Gouw (Underground, Arrow), Charles Babalola (Black Mirror), Alice Krige and Ian Kenny.
