Interview with gorgeous Finnish alternative, fetish and gothic model Necrinity. Necrinity is also a makeup artist, picture editor and photographer and we thank her for taking her time to answer our questions. But now let's get to know her better, what are her passions and plans for the future.
L: Who is Necrinity? How would you describe yourself?
N: I am a very creative, social and open-minded girl. Three adjectives to describe myself: passionate, caring and loving. I am actually Finnish but I live in Sweden. We Finns are known to be passionate, if I am not mistaken. I am caring because I care so much about the people close to me. Loving because I have incredibly much love to offer!
L: You are a gothic and alternative model. When did you become a part of this world and what drew you to it? When was your first photo shoot?
N: I always wanted to pose in front of the camera and share art. It took a while for my desires to turn into something concrete. I had to have more confidence in myself before my dream became a reality. So I started posing for my mother but my first studio photo shoot was in 2011. From that moment I became passionate about this world to which I felt I belonged only in 2013 thanks also to my partner who is not only an outstanding photographer but also a model.
It's so fun to do photo shoots together! We take pictures of each other... now it's on and on!
L: What attracts you to Gothic culture?
N: The dark, so mysterious and unknown.
L: What are the pros and cons of being a model?
N: Anything positive makes you grow, both as a model and as a person in real life. It makes you want to work harder, and, of course, my creativity expands because of it! The cons are about people who can sometimes be very rude and really disrespectful. It's difficult for both me and my boyfriend because since we are both models and work together, we attract attention from people who try to ruin our personal lives but to no avail because he and I are completely in sync.
L: What are the most important shots you've taken? Can you tell us about them?
N: I think all my shots are important, more or less.
L: Where do you get the inspiration for your shots from?
N: From almost everything--mostly from music, art, movies, nature, darkness, animals and, of course, other people.
L: What are the common characteristics of Necrinity and the girl behind this stage name?
N: Well, I always try to be kind and let people know that their support means a lot. I am very honest and simple, both as a model and as a person in real life.
L: In your photographic sets you position together with Xilmordas. Can you tell us about him?
N: Absolutely! She has a great and dark creative mind and it is very rewarding when we collaborate together and talk about new future projects. We spend a lot of time choosing makeup, lenses, clothes and accessories. And, of course, after each shoot, we select all the photos and edit them together. He is my boyfriend, partner, best friend and colleague. I am happy to be part of his life and projects.
L: Who would you like to collaborate with?
N: I love all the projects and ideas of Xilmordas and share everything, but it would be nice to work with other photographers as well.
L: You are the lead singer of Empressite. Tell us a little about this band.
N: Actually the band is currently stationary. So time will tell what will happen. But I will start a new project soon, inspired more by EBM, industrial and Aggrotech. And this I will do with Xilmordas...maybe further down the road.
L: "Symbol Makeup" is your web page on make-up. What do you like about make-up?
N: I have always had a great passion for makeup. It's a perfect way to be creative, there are no limits and the skin of the face is the canvas on which to indulge. I like to be creative with new colors and combinations.
L: What are your hobbies?
N: Photography, modeling, picture editing, makeup, painting, games, night walks in the forest by moonlight and, of course, hanging out with friends.
L: What is your favorite horror movie and why? And what are your favorite groups?
N: I love the SAW saga and of course, I find the old horror movies very fascinating ^ ^
There are many great bands, but right now I am listening a lot to Swallow The Sun, The 69 Eyes and Summoning.
L: What are your plans for the future?
N: I plan to keep up with modeling and creativity and try to make myself known in other countries.

N: Be completely yourself. Pay no attention to those who tell you that you are not enough, because you are. Always remember, "To Thine Own Self Be True" - Shakespeare (always be yourself). If you are always yourself you will go on, no matter what. You will have peace of mind and people will find inspiration in you because you are unique, you are yourself.
