International trailer for Goodnight Mommy (Ich seh, Ich seh), an Austrian film in the horror thriller genre that has just premiered at the Venice Film Festival. It is directed by Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz, who together made the documentary Kern in 2012.
The two directors also handled the script for the film.
The story of Goodnight Mommy features ten-year-old twin brothers who are awaiting the return of their mother. Having completed surgery on the face 
which has forced her to stay away from home for several hours, the woman returns to her children. The young boys, however, begin to doubt that the young woman with a bandaged face and roaming the walls of their abode is their mother. The latter, however, tries to reassure them by attributing her "strange" behavior to the operation. The two brothers, however, do not believe her and set out to discover the truth.
The cast includes Susanne Wuest, Elias Schwarz, and Lukas Schwarz, while Ulrich Seidl handled the production of the film. Cinematography is by Martin Gschlacht.
