Good Tidings (UK - 2016), the villainous Christmas slasher/horror about three psychopaths disguised as Santa Claus, sarà disponibile per il video on demand (anche su iTunes) a partire dal 6 dicembre grazie a XLrator Media. Written, directed and produced by Stuart W. Bedford (Hybrid, An Easter's Tale), Good Tidings è attualmente in concorso al "The Optical Theatre Festival" 2016 dove è Selezione Ufficiale. Il film ha infatti ricevuto ben quattro nomination: Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Villain e Best Music.
Il film ha collezionato molte nomination anche in altri festival ed è vincitore di diversi award fra cui il Best Feature Film allo "Starburst International Film Festival" e il Best Director all’"HorrorQuest Film Festival".
Trama: Sam Baker (Alan Mulhall) è un veterano di guerra che vive insieme ai suoi amici in un rifugio per senzatetto. Qui, proprio il 25 dicembre, tre feroci psicopatici (Curly, Moe e Larry) travestiti da Babbo Natale si intrufoleranno nella struttura distruggendo l'aria di festa e la speranza di chi vive all'interno.
Co-writers and co-producers of Good Tidings are John Gentile and Stu Jopia, also actors here. The two play Larry and Curly, respectively, two members of the trio composed of the naughty Santas, whose third subject is Moe (Liam W. Ashcroft). Alan Mulhall, Johnny Hirst, Colin Murtagh, Emma Hind, Marcella Hazell, Garry McMahon and Julia Walsh round out the cast.
The music is by Liam W. Ashcroft while the photography is by Shane de Almeida.
