The July 12 is the date set for the first date of the third edition of the Ghost Tour Triora, the evocative walking tour in which two storytellers dressed in black and equipped with lanterns will take you through the historic center of Triora, into the bowels of "witch country" the place where the witch trial took place in 1587.
During the Tour, narrator guides will tell you historical facts, legends and folklore stories against the backdrop of one of Europe's most evocative and supernatural places, revealing its mysteries, horrors and darker sides so as to feed the macabre and gloomy side of horror and lore enthusiasts.
Grim stories of tragedy, hags and everything related to the sphere of the macabre and mystery will be dark music echoing within the ancient walls and narrow alleys of Triora for a magical and chilling walk.
The Ghost Tour Triora is an event created by the Autunnonero Cultural Association established with the aim of promoting horror and fantasy culture through the traditions and legends of the past. Andrea Scibilia is the President of the Association while Alessandro Scibilia is the Vice President.
The storytellers will be Nicoletta Cino and Simone Caridi (the director of The black enamel) together with Serena Allera (the "doctor") and soprano singer and harpist Claudia Murachelli. Themes addressed in the Tour will be not only witches but also stories of plague, death and ancient pagan myths.
Added to these are popular beliefs about werewolves and other creatures... One of the stops on the 2014 Ghost Tour is Palazzo Capponi, an ancient building in Triora.
L'Autunnonero Ghost Tour Triora 2014 includes five summer dates and a special date to celebrate Halloween. The dates are on 12 and the July 19, the 2, the 16 and the August 30, the October 25 With the special event for "witch's night." The Ghost Tour begins at 10 p.m. in front of the Ethnographic and Witchcraft Museum of Triora, Corso Italia 1.
