La leggenda vivente George A. Romero avrà la sua stella sulla Walk of Fame a Los Angeles. Questo quanto diffuso poche ore fa durante la conferenza stampa dedicata all'evento e di cui è disponibile il video (in fondo all'articolo) della premiazione.
Inutile dire che la bellissima notizia ha suscitato l'entusiamo e la gioia dei fan del celebre Maestro degli zombie che negli anni ha regalato capolavori cinematografici agli amanti dell'horror.
Born in 1940, the American director directed in 1968 Night of the Living Dead, the first chapter of his quadrilogy about the living dead. The '68 film is thus followed by. Dawn of the Dead (1978), Day of the Dead (1985) e Land of the Dead (2005). Instead, they constitute a separate saga Diary of the Dead (2007) and Survival of the Dead (2009).
De Night of the Living Dead two remakes were made, one by Tom Savini in 1990 and another directed by Jeff Broadstreet in 2006 while in 2004 Zack Snyder directed the remake of Dawn of the Dead titled L'alba dei morti viventi (Dawn of the Dead). Also in pre-production is the remake of The Day of the Zombies.
Recall that last April 9, 2016, at the Cinema Moderno in Lucca, George A. Romero was interviewed by Federico Frusciante (link all'intervista) at the Lucca Film Festival and Europa-Cinema, as a guest of the film event.
