With Shudder comes the official trailer for From Black, the horror film in which evil is conjured out of love.
Written and directed by Thomas Marchese (Innocent, Fallen) and starring Anna Camp (The Madness Game, True Blood), From Black will arrive exclusively on Shudder on April 28.
The protagonist of the story is a mother obsessed with the mysterious disappearance of her son five years earlier. After trying hard to find out what the child's fate was, the woman participates in a dangerous ritual by which she might see him again and perhaps even embrace him, but the consequences will be terrifying...
In the cast of From Black, in addition to Anna Camp, are Jennifer Lafleur (Big Little Lies), John Ales (Euphoria), Travis Hammer (Godless) and Richie Montgomery (Ozark).
The screenplay is by Thomas Marchese himself in collaboration with Jessub Flower.
