Tomorrow, April 22, 2016, the Italian premiere will be presented. Friend Request - Death Has Your Profile (Germany - 2016) at Napoli Comicon, thanks to Movieplayer.co.uk. The event will take place at the CartooNa Auditorium at 12:30 pm.
As Unfriended by Levan Gabriadze, also Friend Request reflects the modern era in which real life merges with virtual life. The story of the horror-thriller film focuses attention on Facebook, its use and in particular the friend requests that millions of users send to each other every day. It is these that trigger a mechanism of death in Simon Verhoeven's film.
The main character Laura (Alycia Debnam-Carey) is a student who, like everyone else, uses Facebook to contact her friends. However, one day she accepts a friend request from the wrong person namely that of Marina (Liesl Ahlers). From that moment on, in fact, all her contacts begin to die, and Laura herself has little time left to understand the mystery behind all those strange deaths.
Friend Request - Death Has Your Profile will arrive in Italian theaters (except for the Comicon preview) next June 9.
The film's cast includes Alycia Debnam-Carey, William Moseley, Brit Morgan, Connor Paolo, Sean Marquette, Brooke Markham, and Liesl Ahlers.
