Jason had finally passed on, but the fact that he was so successful among fans kept him from disappearing for good when he should have: here are the premise of the fifth chapter of our “Crystal Lake” massacre. With the Vorhees nightmare theoretically over, a group of mentally ill boys are housed at Crystal Lake so that they can be treated with natural therapies. Needless to say, someone starts killing anyone who comes under their clutches. Tommy is all grown up, but the experience with Jason has traumatized him in no small part and its specter still hovers in his mind; to chase away the nightmare, he begins to investigate the new trail of mindless blood that could drag him into an endless nightmare.
A year after what was supposed to be the end of the saga of Friday the 13th, in 1985 pops up this film aimed at the hardcore fans of the series. There is no lack of some new ideas, but they will not be applied later, and the downward parabola will begin from the next episode. It should be noted that the murders are many (more than 20!) and the special effects, edited by David Miller, quite original.
If someone on the phone asks you “who is the killer of Friday the 13th Part 5?” be careful what you answer.
The direction is by Danny Steinmann.
