Cristal Lake. Five years after the massacre, a group of boys decide on yet another reopening of the campground. It turns out that Jason did not drown and lives in a cabin at the edge of the woods. He decides it is time for revenge and begins his career as a reckless slaughterer of young men, hidden by a sack that conceals his face.
1981 sequel to Friday the 13th and first (not absolute since he also appears in the finale of the first film) of one of the world's most famous serial killers.
Along the lines of the first episode, this one relies on the new character, silent and relentless; an assassin who would later become the symbol of the entire series, with his unforgettable field hockey mask and machete as his faithful weapon. The level, compared to the first film, has dropped but if you like the format this one is also enjoyable. The murders increase in number and are quite gory, although the special effects (created by the mind of Carl Fullerton) are not wasted.Directed by Steve Miner.
