Netflix has released the official teaser trailer for Frankenstein, a film produced, written and directed by Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, Nightmare Alley) and starring Oscar Isaac (The Card Counter) and Jacob Elordi (Saltburn, Priscilla) as Dr. Victor Frankenstein and the monster, respectively.
Frankenstein is a retelling of Mary Shelley's classic and will be released by Netflix in November.
The cast also includes Mia Goth (X: A Sexy Horror Story), Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) and Ralph Ineson (The Witch).
The story takes place in Eastern Europe in the 19th century and sheds light on the story of Dr. Pretorious (Christoph Waltz), who is determined to find the monster created by the legendary Dr. Frankenstein so he can continue his experiments.
