According to the announcement, the filming of Frankenstein will officially launch on March 4, 2024 in Toronto. Produced, written and directed by Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, The Fair of Illusions - Nightmare Alley), the film stars Jacob Elordi (Saltburn, Priscilla) and Oscar Isaac (The Card Collector) as the monster and Dr. Victor Frankenstein, respectively.
Frankenstein is the reimagining of Mary Shelley's classic, a new live-action film in development for some time now and produced by Netflix.
The cast also includes Mia Goth (X: A Sexy Horror Story), Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley and Christian Convery.
