Dopo aver ricevuto l'Oscar come "Miglior film d'animazione"per il film in stop-motion Pinocchio pochi giorni fa, Guillermo del Toro (La forma dell'acqua, La fiera delle illusioni – Nightmare Alley) si lancia nel suo nuovo progetto dal titolo Frankenstein.
According to Deadline's revelation, this is a reimagining of Mary Shelley's classic, a new live-action film that has been in development for some time and also produced for Netflix.
The Mexican director, screenwriter and producer is currently finalizing the script, while three actors are already in talks to join the cast of his Frankenstein.
They are Andrew Garfield (Spider-Man, 2012), Oscar Isaac (The Card Collector) and Mia Goth (X: A Sexy Horror Story). The three have already met with the director and plan to participate in the project.
