Circulating for a few days now is the trailer for Francesca, the new film by Argentine brothers Luciano and Nicolás Onetti who, after Deep Sleep, once again pay homage to Italy, specifically to the giallo genre and, above all, to the cinema of Dario Argento.
In the trailer, the vintage atmosphere typical of the 1970s is indeed maniacally recreated for a disorienting and, at the same time, very charming result. Nor does a male voice reciting the first verses of the cantica go unnoticed in the clip Inferno of Divine Comedy by Dante Aligheri, one of the greatest literary works ever.
Luciano Onetti directs Francesca for a screenplay involving the director himself along with his brother Nicolás Onetti. The latter is also present in the production of the film (Guante Negro Films).
The cast includes Raul Gederlini, Silvina Grippaldi, Luis Emilio Rodríguez, and Gustavo D'Alessandro.
As per Deep Sleep, also Francesca Will be filmed in Italian.
