After the new poster de The first night of judgment (aka The First Purge), four character posters for this fourth installment in the violent franchise have been released. Written by James DeMonaco (the screenwriter and director of the other three chapters in the saga) and directed by Gerard McMurray, The first night of judgment (USA - 2018) is the prequel to the The Purge (2013).
The film will see the light of day in Italian theaters on July 5, 2018.
To lower the crime rate below one percent for the rest of the year, the New Founding Fathers of America (NFFA) test a sociological theory based on venting (over the course of one night) to allow the wildest and cruelest instincts to be unleashed in an isolated community. However, when the violence of the oppressors collides with the anger of the marginalized, the outburst will cross the boundaries of the test town and spread across the nation.
In the cast of The First Night of Judgment there are Y'Lan Noel, Lex Scott Davis, Joivan Wade, Luna Lauren Velez, Marisa Tomei, Mo McRae, Steve Harris, Marisa Tomei, Melonie Diaz, Patch Darragh, Aaron V. Williamson, and Mitchell Edwards.
James DeMonaco, the creator of the saga (Judgment Night, Anarchy - Judgment Night and Judgment Night - Election Year), also appears in this film as creative consultant and producer along with Jason Blum (Blumhouse Productions), Michael Bay, Platinum Dunes, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form and Sébastien K. Lemercier.
