On June 15, pre-orders will open through the official Outronox website, the new independent platform dedicated to cult underground cinema, for Flowers (USA – 2015), Phil Stevens' extreme horror film.
The film will be released by TetroVideo in a limited, numbered, and certified Mediabook edition featuring a Slipcase, two numbered Blu-rays, a Booklet, and four collectible cards. The edition will be available exclusively during the pre-order period and will no longer be available for purchase once pre-orders close.
Straddling the line between extreme horror and experimental cinema, Flowers (read our review here) is a dialogue-free work that relies entirely on the power of its imagery to draw viewers into a nightmare populated by mutilated bodies and oppressive environments. Made on a modest budget and featuring handcrafted practical effects, the film is firmly rooted in the extreme underground, standing out for its bleak, grimy, and deeply unsettling aesthetic.
Plot:After being brutally murdered, six women awaken in a disturbing realm connected to the home of their killer. Trapped within an underground labyrinth suspended between life and death, they are forced to confront the most painful memories of their past while a dark presence continues to torment them. In a place shaped by suffering, every attempt to escape seems doomed to fail.
