Finished the filming of The Nun, the second spin-off of the successful saga The Conjuring whose release date has been set for July 13, 2018. The new chapter from Warner Bros. Pictures, currently in post-production, features Corin Hardy, the director of the horror The Hallow (2015) while the film's screenplay is by Gary Dauberman and James Wan (the latter is also the producer along with Peter Safran).

Recall that the two chapters in the franchise about the Warren demonologists (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) are directed by James Wan: The Conjuring - The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring - The Enfield Case (2016).
Annabelle 2: Creation instead, the prequel to Annabelle (the first spin-off of the saga), will debut in Italian cinemas on August 3, 2017 (link to news story).
