A reboot of Final Destination, the famous horror saga whose first chapter, directed by James Wong, dates back to 2000. The screenplay for this project (again produced by New Line Cinema) will be by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan while the name of the director and any plot details have not yet been revealed.
Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan also have behind them the screenplay of four chapters of the saga of Saw - The Riddler as well as other horror films such as Piranha 3DD and The Collection.
Currently, the death franchise consists of the following Final Destination, three sequels (Final Destination 2, Final Destination 3 and The Final Destination 3D) and a prequel (Final Destination 5).
Recall that in all Final Destination dei ragazzi riuscivano a sfuggire alla morte grazie ad una serie di sogni premonitori o "segni" per poi scoprire che nessuno può sfuggire al proprio destino.
