The "FI-PI-LI HORROR FESTIVAL" event, convened by the Cultural Association "The Onion Theater" and now in its third year, takes place in Livorno on April 24-27.
The festival dedicates a video competition intended for Italian video makers (competition divided into three sections: short films, smart and short movies and music videos) and a literary competition for short stories focused on the theme of fear and all its nuances.
Among the guests the Festival boasts prominent names from the Italian horror scene such as Pupi Avati, Lamberto Bava, Ruggero Deodato, Antonio Tentori but also those of newcomers such as Marco Ristori and Luca Boni. The jury will include figures from the film and literary world such as directors Manetti Bros, Federico Frusciante from Videodrome, Filippo Mazzarella, Valerio Nardoni, Alessio Santacroce, Paolo Morelli and Romina Questa.

Today, April 24, at Cinema 4 Mori there will be screenings of The House with the Laughing Windows, The Shining and I Rec You (the latter in an exclusive premiere). On April 25, 26 and 27 the event will continue at the Nuovo Teatro delle Commedie.
A film directing workshop will be held on the mornings of April 26 and 27 at the Nuovo Teatro Delle Commedie in Livorno. The course will be led by renowned Italian director Lamberto Bava, who will be ready to reveal the secrets of filmmaking techniques.
