Sunday, April 27 saw the conclusion of the FI-PI-LI Horror Festival, the third edition of the literary and film event held in Livorno from April 24 to 27 and attended by such outstanding guests as Pupi Avati, Lamberto Bava, Ruggero Deodato, Manetti Bros. and many others.
In competition 100 short stories and 80 short films of which we report the winners.
Survivors of the competition final Antichrist held by DarkVeins, Roberto Ciardiello (winner of our contest with "Devilish Rome") and Matteo Pisaneschi were among the ten finalists, winning second and tenth place, respectively.

Winners of the video contest include Federico Scargiali with his excellent Life.Love.Regret., a short film of only 9 minutes that enjoys a disturbing story, well directed and acted (magnificent Eileen Daly). In addition to Scargiali, the name of Paolo Del Fiol also stands out with his very special Holdouts. Once again Del Fiol presents a unique work in which he blends different cultures (Western and Eastern) and in which he uses a real tank (lent to him by a collector friend) to best represent his short film dedicated to Japanese ghost soldiers ("Holdouts" in reference to the title).
