This month, the following films are coming to Italian theaters: Knock on the door and The Offering, two horror films directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Village, The Happening, Split, Old) and Oliver Park (Vicious), respectively.
The first will debut in theaters on February 2, while the second will debut on February 23.

FEBRUARY 2: Knock on the door

The movie is the film adaptation of the novel The house at the end of the world by Paul Tremblay and stars Ben Aldridge (The Titan), Jonathan Groff (Matrix Resurrections), Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead), Rupert Grint, and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old).
The story sheds light on a family spending a vacation in a remote cabin lost in the woods who, taken hostage by four strangers, will be forced to make an unthinkable choice to prevent the Apocalypse. In the hours that follow, amid a crescendo of apocalyptic omens, paranoia, madness, fear, and rituals, the family will find themselves having to decide what to believe before all is lost.

FEBRUARY 23: The Offering
The Offering (USA – 2022) is a horror film about the female demon Abyzou from Jewish culture.
Written by Hank Hoffman based on a story by Jonathan Yunger, the film is directed by Oliver Park (Vicious) and will be released in Italian theaters on February 23 by Vertice 360.
Described with a greenish face and snake-like hair, this demon of Jewish tradition is the dybbuq of a child thief, motivated by envy of mothers, as she is barren.
Plot: after the disappearance of a young Jewish girl, the son of a Chassidic funeral director returns home with his pregnant wife in hopes of reconciling with his father. However, the couple is unaware that just downstairs in the family morgue, an ancient evil is interested in the unborn child and is hiding in a mysterious corpse.
The cast of The Offering It consists of Nick Blood (Euphoria), Paul Kaye (Game of Thrones), Emily Wiseman (The Winchester Widow), Allan Corduner, Jonathan Yunger, Velizar Binev (Hitman), and Daniel Ben Zenou.
