Venantino Venantini, famous Italian actor, has passed away at the age of 88. Announcing his passing was his sister Rossana Venantini.
Venantino Venantini è morto il 9 ottobre 2018 all'ospedale di Viterbo per le conseguenze post-operatorie di un intervento al femore subito la scorsa estate.
Nato a Fabriano nel 1930, l'attore era attivo nel mondo del cinema sin dagli anni '50 e ha interpretato oltre 150 film fra cui sono presenti horror iconici. Lo ricordiamo in particolar modo per Fear in the City of the Living Dead by Lucio Fulci, Apocalypse tomorrow By Antonio Margheriti, Cannibal Ferox by Umberto Lenzi and The hiding place by Pupi Avati.
L'attore è presente anche in diversi film di Domiziano Cristopharo fra cui Bloody Sin, The Museum of Wonders and Hyde's Secret Nightmare But also in choral horror Phantasmagoria and P.O.E. Pieces of Eldritch.
In addition to filmmaking, Venantino also cultivated a passion for painting.
