In a Twitter post, Bruce Campbell published a new image of Evil Dead Rise, the fifth installment of the horror saga The House (Evil Dead).
Written and directed by Lee Cronin (The Hole in The Ground) for Warner Bros./New Line, Evil Dead Rise will debut in US theaters on April 21, 2023.
Sam Raimi, the creator of the franchise The House, appears in the project as a producer, alongside his long-time partner Robert Tapert and his friend Bruce Campbell, the actor who played Ash Williams in the Evil Dead saga and who will not be appearing in the cast of this new chapter.
Plot of Evil Dead Rise: Beth fa visita alla sorella maggiore Ellie, la quale sta crescendo tre figli da sola in un piccolo appartamento a Los Angeles. The cast includes Alyssa Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies, Mia Challis and Nell Fisher.
