According to reports from Deadline, Mia Challis (Clickbait) has joined the cast of Evil Dead Rise, the fourth chapter of the saga Evil Dead.
Sam Raimi, the creator of the franchise, appears in the project as a producer, along with longtime partner Robert Tapert and his friend Bruce Campbell, the actor who played the unforgettable Ash Williams in the Evil Dead series (a character who will not appear in the new chapter).
Directed by Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground). the film is currently being filmed and will come directly to streaming as an HBO Max exclusive, WarnerMedia's platform.
In Evil Dead Rise, Mia Challis is Jessica, an 18-year-old who is obsessed with fashion and Instagram, loves being the center of attention, and is much smarter than she looks.
Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan instead play two sisters grappling with a terrifying demon. In addition to the three actresses, the cast also includes Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies and Nell Fisher.
