Evil Dead Rise is written and directed by Lee Cronin, who announced the end of filming in New Zealand last October with a message on Twitter.

Plot of Evil Dead Rise: Beth visits her older sister Ellie, who is raising three children alone in a small apartment in Los Angeles.
