A new clip and trailer for Evil Dead Burn, the latest installment in the iconic horror franchise, are now online. The film opens in Italian theaters on July 8 and marks the sixth entry in the series, as well as the third standalone chapter following Evil Dead (2013), directed by Fede Alvarez, and Evil Dead Rise (2023), directed by Lee Cronin.
Directed by French filmmaker Sébastien Vaniček, whose 2023 feature Vermin earned widespread acclaim, Evil Dead Burn promises to be one of the franchise's most violent and brutal installments, packed with possession, bloodshed, and demonic chaos.

Plot: Following the death of her husband, a woman seeks solace at her in-laws' secluded home, but what was meant to be a time of mourning soon turns into a nightmare. One by one, her relatives become possessed and transform into Deadites, turning the family gathering into an infernal reunion. Amid the horror, she discovers that the vows spoken in life continue to have consequences even after death.

The cast includes Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Tandi Wright (Pearl), and George Pullar.
The screenplay was co-written by Sébastien Vaniček and Florent Bernard. Among the producers are Rob Tapert and Sam Raimi, the longtime creator of the Evil Dead franchise.

Following Evil Dead Burn, the franchise will continue with Evil Dead Wrath, currently in production and directed by Francis Galluppi, with a theatrical release set for 2028. The film is a prequel set before the events of Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead (1981).
