Sony Pictures Italia has unveiled the Italian teaser trailer for Evil Dead Burn (aka La Casa - Il rogo del Male), the latest entry in the long-running franchise. It serves as the third standalone chapter following Evil Dead (2013) and Evil Dead Rise (2023), as well as the sixth film overall in the saga that began in 1981.
The film is directed and co-written by French filmmaker Sébastien Vaniček (Vermin) and produced by Rob Tapert alongside series creator Sam Raimi. Evil Dead Burn is set to hit italian theaters on July 8.
Plot: After losing her husband in a car accident, a woman seeks refuge at her in-laws’ remote home, but what should be a safe haven quickly turns into a nightmare. The discovery of an ancient book sets off a chain of events that turns the family gathering into a living hell.
Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub (Climax). She is joined by Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Erroll Shand, Maude Davey, and George Pullar.
