In a recent interview on EW On the thriller-drama What doesn't kill (aka The Girl in the Spider's Web), Fede Alvarez hinted that there might be a chance that he could direct Evil Dead 2 which is the sequel to The House (the reboot he directed in 2013).
Fede Alvarez spoke about his debut film. Evil Dead as of a fantastic experience thanks to the support of friends like Bruce Campbell, director Sam Raimi and producer Rob Tapert, people with whom he still has a good relationship. However, the Uruguayan director reiterated that he will direct the sequel to Evil Dead only when he has an interesting and engaging story available that is worth directing a sequel for.
Recall that Fede Alvarez directed. Evil Dead in 2013, a film that was released in Italy under the title Evil Dead. In 2016, however, he directed the thriller-horror Man in the Dark (aka Don't Breathe) while Alvarez is currently busy in post-production of What doesn't kill, a film that will be released in Italian theaters on October 31, 2018.
