In a recent interview on EW On the thriller-drama What doesn't kill (aka The Girl in the Spider's Web), Fede Alvarez hinted that there might be a chance that he could direct Evil Dead 2 which is the sequel to The House (the reboot he directed in 2013).

Tuttavia il regista uruguaiano ha ribadito che dirigerà il seguito de Evil Dead only when he has an interesting and engaging story available that is worth directing a sequel for.
Recall that Fede Alvarez directed. Evil Dead in 2013, a film that was released in Italy under the title Evil Dead. In 2016, however, he directed the thriller-horror Man in the Dark (aka Don't Breathe) while Alvarez is currently busy in post-production of What doesn't kill, a film that will be released in Italian theaters on October 31, 2018.
