Online the official poster for Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, the psychological horror film that will arrive in Italian theaters on July 15 with the title Escape Room 2: Deadly Game while it will debut in U.S. ones the following day.
The film is a sequel to Escape Room (2019) and features Adam Robitel, the director of the first chapter and also of The Taking of Deborah Logan, e Insidious: The Last Key.
Plot: Six people find themselves stuck in another set of escape rooms. What should be a game of logic to sharpen their wits soon turns into a desperate race against time. In order to survive, in fact, the protagonists will have to manage to put together the pieces of a disturbing puzzle: they will then find themselves unraveling what they have in common, discovering that they have taken part in the game before.
The cast of Escape Room 2 consists of Logan Miller (Scout's Handbook for the Zombie Apocalypse, Prey) and Taylor Russell, the protagonists of the first chapter. The two were joined by Isabelle Fuhrman (Orphan), Holland Roden (Channel Zero: Butcher's Block), Indya Moore, Thomas Cocquerel and Carlito Olivero.
Will Honley (The Hive), Maria Melnik (Escape Room), Oren Uziel and Daniel Tuch (Hand of God) instead wrote the screenplay.
