Entertainment Weekly has exclusively released the first image of Pennywise, the diabolical clown played by 25-year-old Swedish actor Bill SkarsgÄrd and which we attach to this article.
In charge of directing the new adaptation of Stephen King's famous novel (1986) is Andy Muschietti, the director of The Mother and who also handled the screenplay along with Gary Dauberman.
Following are the names that make up the cast: Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Sophia Lillis, Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween), Chosen Jacobs, Wyatt Oleff and Jeremy Ray Taylor.
As already known, Bill SkarsgÄrd (Hemlock Grove) plays the clown Pennywise, a role played by the legendary Tim Curry in the TV miniseries of the same name directed by Tommy Lee Wallace in 1990.
The film, currently in the filming stage, will consist of two parts. The first, whose release date is set for Sept. 8, 2017, features a group of teenagers called the "Loser's Club." The second part, on the other hand, will be devoted to the said club as adults.
