Emma Dark (Island of the Blind Dead), a British independent filmmaker and actress, has announced the release date of her horror-action short film Seize The Night which she produced, directed and starred in 2015. In fact, the short film will be available online, free of charge, starting next May 3, 2016.
Seize The Night Is clearly inspired by the saga Underworld. La protagonista della storia infatti è Eva (Emma Dark), una vampira che riesce a scappare da un segreto laboratorio di ricerca del Governo per attuare il suo piano di vendetta contro coloro che l'avevano rinchiusa. Tra i suoi nemici ci sono un gruppo di lupi mannari guidati da Tobias (Carey Thring) e una divisione governativa nota con il nome di Cable 9.
The screenplay of Seize the Night è a cura dell'esordiente Richard Humphries. Nel cast, oltre a Emma Dark: Carey Thring, Anthony Ilott, Paul Ewen, Mark Sears, Chris Hampshire, Sharon O'Brien-Lumley, Merlyn Roberts, Laurence Joseph, Joel Brown e Beric Read.
Il film è stato presentato in diversi Festival del genere vincendo l'MMBF Rising Star award all'Ireland's The Yellow Fever Independent Film Festival.
